Garou copy protection issues

27 Aug 2019, 12:40

Heyo,

I randomly get a copy protection splash screen on the garou rom (the main one called "garou"). Is that a known issue? I'm using a MV-1A.

Thanks

Try clearing backup ram (ser all dips to on, boot the console, power off, set them to the position you had before). If it still happens, try enabling arcade mode, then take your sd out of neosd and boot it without sd (with garou loaded)

Are you forcing console mode in the neosd options to AES or MVS?

I'm using a UNIBIOS and it is set in Europe Arcade, the option is greyed in the neosd mode. I also have set the "arcade mode" in the neosd option.

I forgot to tell you to delete the garou files from the sd card bup folder. The full steps are:
Delete all files starting with 'garou' feom the sd card BUP folder.
Place your sd card back into neosd nut don't plug the mvs board yet.
Set all dips in the mvs to on.
Turn it on, when work ram test shows, turn it off.
Restore your dips settings.
Try garou.

When trying with arcade mode on, also ensure the sd card is not inserted in neosd.
