I've added another 240 games to the database (654 total now). I also downloaded 213 images for added games. Zip file is here

I do not now how to process the additional images, so they are in a new folder "image - to process." if anyone processes them, I'd appreciate they post for others to use.

I did a find/replace on the XML file (db.xml) and replaced "C:\Temp" with the root directory of my PC, so basically it looks like this:

<Screenshot>D:\VidEms\TurboCD\GameDbManager-3\image\Air Zonk.png</Screenshot>

I then ran the program, and it worked for the vast majority of my TG16/PCE Hucard roms and some of the CD Games. I only put a few on the SD card though. Frankly, the one critique I have is in the images themselves. I'm not sure that jewel case covers were the best choice, given the low low resolution the device can read. The color palette is also not so great, but for the most part this does work.

Hi

Thanks for sharing the GameDbManager with all game details. It worked for me, just had to edit the XML file to remove Genres above 21.

I also find out why most CD games are not recognize and wanted to share.
There is a pattern for the error "Index was outside the bounds of the array", at least for me the filename for the rip was always with the extesion ".img"

I think the program probably try to split the filename or look for the extension ".iso" or ".bin" at the end of the file, when it fails to locate those strings it fails (while ".img" should be a valid option).

Hope it helps

Best

I think that I missed a step...where do we put the png files on the SD card?

Greetings!

I can´t find the mentioned software / the link seems to be dead now and I find nothing in Downloads after I logged into the Download section.

I would like to have those mini images during game selection, best case with a fixed XML or howto what to modify. :)

Thank you,

Here is the last link that worked.

If I remember right it was kinda fiddly to get it to work. Unzip (7-zip), files. Make a directory temp in the root of the drive "c:\temp" and place the app, xml files and image folders in there. Don't add the TileCache folder. Run app, click scan button. It will ask for the location of your games or SD card full of games. After it's done scanning click convert and it should make a new TileCache folder. Copy that to the root of your SD card full of games.

I wrote this from memory so if I missed a step let me know.

Good luck.

I second this. I'm a UI/UX developer and would like to make some serious changes to usability...
