Re: Forum changes, updates and extensions

eh, that would be really nice, although having this working for videos and other media already is pretty great.

Also, let me know if you find a way to implement it as I'd love to use this on my forum as well.

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

The shmup genre is a niche itself and people who are actually involved to the point of playing it in TATE is an even smaller niche, so your user pool is pretty small, smaller than, say, a multi based on the arcade PSX boards ZN-1, ZN2, Taito FX, etc. (which I'm not really interested in, but saw on D...

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

Remember that the CAVE games are mostly vertical and people willing to rotate their monitors are a niche of a niche. So unless the FPGA solution integrates a way to rotate the games so that you can play them on a horizontal monitor it's going to target a very small market. IMHO, getting a Xbox360 an...

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

I see a huge number of requests for console based system and wanted to throw out there one thing to think about. As rare, limited in quantity and pricy some consoles and games might be, those will never reach the absurd state of arcade hardware. I really hope TO won't stop putting out solutions for ...

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

Are you sure? I admit I might not recall correctly, but I believe that long time ago I read an article where it was proven that the hardware was very similar to the point that gamecube games ran natively.

GameCube ODE!!! Pls! 8-)
Just get a used wii for 20$, software mod it (30 mins max, guides are all over the internet) and buy an external hard disk and you can play all the Gamecube games. The Wii hardware is the same as the Gamecube one IIRC, minus minor differences.

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

There is a compact flash solution for this already, has been for many years. You'll also need a Midi card for the system as well cause it doesn't have a midi port on the system itself. Oh man, this looks like is getting super expensive. Thanks for chiming in, I think the X68000 will remain one of t...

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

Does a Sharp X68000 multi exist? I'm pretty sure very few people even know that it exists but, hey, just throwing it out there. Always wanted to get one, I even have a nice MIDI module to go with it.

P.S.: don't treat this as a request, merely a curiosity. It would like to the bottom of my want list.

Re: SSDS3 V1 board exchange?

Honestly, their decision makes perfect sense to me.

Those who have rev1, albeit with issues, can already play the games and use the device, while new ones can't.

It's not like the rev1 doesn't work, it has video noise and audio buzz, but the games work on it.
