Re: Super SD System 3 Audio Buzzing

If you don't hook up the 5v line on your SCART cable then the blanking line won't be set to RGB mode. Many devices rely on the blanking line to switch between RGB and composite video mode. This is defined in the SCART standard.

Re: Post Your Game Bugs here.

No upscaler. But I actually came back to strike my previous post. I think there may be something wrong with my super system 3.0 card, since I just noticed it also causes desyncs on other games now, whereas my 2.1 card has no problems. I'm gonna try using an Arcade PRO card in about a week, but if s...

Re: Will any other scart cables work?

She has a message at the top of the page stating that she is heavily backed up because of the coax cabling being unavailable for a long time.

Then could it be a bug in the actual game rather than in the SSDS3? Now we need someone to see if they can replicate the Valis bug on an IFU-30 and see if they get the same result I did.
What device are you using for playback? Are you using an upscaler?

Re: Will any other scart cables work?

Yeah, that was my plan but they dont have them any more. Are you talking about retro-access.com? They restock daily. You just have to be around during the restock time. They make a great cable. I recently had them make me a set for a bunch of my older consoles and they all came out great. Retro-acce...

Re: What you guys want us to build for the next projects ?

Digital RGB Active TFT LCD screens for all major portable consoles. If you don't want to compete with McWills, then ignore the Lynx and Game Gear. ODE for Duo consoles, similar to the design Deunan uses now where you replace the laser assembly, plus the bonus of no additional functionality needed ou...

Re: Avoid: Retrobit A/V video cable for Genesis II/Megadrive II

Flipping the cap either way and he is still probably going to have issues if he is using an HDTV. Flipping it does zero to clear up the diagonal noise. Is it probably better to flip the cap...yes. Does it solve the noise issue, no. THEY ARE UNRELATED. I didn't say anything about the noise issue. I ...

Re: Avoid: Retrobit A/V video cable for Genesis II/Megadrive II

Well that depends on whether the cap is backwards and the device you are using for output. From what Todd saw, there was no discernible difference. From what I have seen and the HDRetrovision guys and Voultar saw, there is. So it sounds like the output device you are using is going to play a part i...

Re: Why are topics being deleted/censored?

Just pointing out that with as many comments have been made about how DS deletes comments he doesn't like, even if its a troll, it's a slippery slope. I get trying to keep things constructive and limiting badmouthing just to be a jerk but all it takes is one time for someone not to like a comment o...
