Shenmue JP works fine on all Dreamcast ODE's on the market i.e Gdemu, usbgdrom and mode. The issue is probably your source of files.

Probably because of the PAL crystal oscillator, as it will be slightly out of spec when the console is out putting a 60hz refresh rate. I have had to give up for now. Tried all I can, everything is connected fine and nothing is playable, due to constant static noise.

I was having the same issue and swap my PSU with a spare that I recap and all the noise issues are gone!!. I definitely recommend to recap your original PSU. Hopefully this helps. P.S. I don't really trust any 3rd party PSU, they can cause more harm than good. But that's just my opinion. i know the...

Pre firmwares like 1.02 needed a txt file (same name as the rom) in the rom(s) folder with this written inside i think it was. So you could try it and see.

Tbh, any possible glitches/bugs should be tested on real hardware and not fpga megasg before posting. A lof of issues are with megasg and it's current fw.
