Re: Blood in USA AES games

No. It doesn't exist in the USA versions. You have to swap regions for blood palettes.

Re: Image Noise (RAD2X + SSDS3)

Remove your internal RGB mod completely and be more specific about the power supply. Who is it made by? What is the voltage and amperage?

Doubtful. It would require a hardware and software change.

Re: Super SD System 3: Safe on RGB modded consoles?

It's more likely to cause poor video quality. It is highly unlikely that you will encounter damage or long term issues. Personally, I would pull the RGB amp from your system and use the output of the SSDS3. Not sure what amp you have in the console but there is a pretty good chance the output isn't ...

Re: MegaSD + Genesis 3 VA1 CD audio mod

Yes. The v2 project is something I was a part of. We spent a considerable amount of time and money to test as many console variations as we could. Hopefully everyone enjoys it. It was a massive undertaking by a small team.

Re: Super SD System 3: Safe on RGB modded consoles?

Safe yes, most likely. A good idea, no. An internal mod pulls signals from the same place as the expansion port. The issue is that you are adding in the attenuation of both circuits together. Which in turn can introduce noise and possibly affect the signal levels negatively. Best case is to choose o...

Re: MegaSD + Genesis 3 VA1 CD audio mod

It won't cause damage but the levels are going to be quite off. The pins are 10 and 24 on the 315-5684. You will need to 75ohm pull downs, a capacitor for filtering, and attenuation resistors. I can't tell you what values because I have never taken the time to figure out what values. Since the tripl...

Re: MegaSD + Genesis 3 VA1 CD audio mod

You can do that but it's not mixing the audio correctly. You are mixing in cart audio after the already mixed and balanced audio from the system. You should be mixing the audio from the cart pins into the 315-5684 on the ROM lines. But you also need to attenuate the connections and add pulldowns.
