Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

Yes, single buffer should fix it too, although it might cause tearing

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

As the megadrive real speed is out of the range of hdmi frame rate specifications (It's 59.something, but outside of the allowed range), some tvs might have issues, so buffering modes make the frame rate fall into the spec in 3 ways: Zero delay. It sopeeds the framerate up a bit to spec (i think 59....

Re: Would really like to play Shining Force CD, but...

Yes, sorry, I mixed the request. I mean if anyone has a shinning force cd save close to the crash, I can try on the older firmware.

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

I've just tried with megasg and yes, zero delay buffer mode causes that issues, as it speeds up the refresh rate by a very small percentage, and ir affects audio/video sync. Just set it to fully buffered and it will work fine.

Re: Would really like to play Shining Force CD, but...

For the people not following the SMT thread, Shin Megami Tensei has a graphics corruption and crash with latest megasg firmware, but it works fine with real hardware and in megasg firmware 4.6. If you have a save right when it's about to happen, I can try it easily. I'm leaving mi msg in firmware 4.6

Re: Overdrive not working properly on Nomad

I've never tried it on a nomad, but my megadrive model 2 seems to have some issues running it properly. It seems it uses too hardware specific graphics tricks that don't work on all chipset models, not really related to the cart, as it also fails with a chinese flashcart clone. Graphics scaler or se...

I've just tried with msg firmware 4.6 and it works fine. 4.7 has a lot of issues :( (I suppose JB 7.6 will work fine too)

Re: Would really like to play Shining Force CD, but...

Don't worry about my megasg, I go firmwares back and forth quite often :D . As I don't use it for actual playing, I don't have many setting changes, I generally just change the font, buffer mode to fully buffered, direct cart boot and enable cart audio.

Re: glitches with neosd pro

We have noticed it happening in some models. It seems related to how neosd resets the console to switch games. Just pressing the reset button fixes it whem it happens.

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

Are you using a megasg? Ensure you test with fully buffered mode. Using zero delay buffering affects framerate and might cause desyncs.
