Re: HDD recommendations

Yeah my seagates work fine with the extra power directly from the psu and I don't see any reason to not use them except I had the SSD just sitting around. In fact everything I plug in works, I just separated the power whether it's direct from the saturn mobo or psu. In all honestly I'm tossing up w...

Re: HDD recommendations

I have a Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD in my Saturn and a 2TB in my Dreamcast. Both work great, and can be had cheaply on Amazon. I didn't see the need to spend more on a SSD and I'm glad I didn't. Hope this helps! Yeah my seagates work fine with the extra power directly from the psu and I don't see an...

Re: HDD recommendations

On a 21 Pin JP white Saturn I have a Kingston 480GB SSD working just fine without using the EXT power. I thought I'd try a few different models but I'm that happy with this setup and it's staying this way. All thumb drives and sd cards I've tried a re working fine. Tried 2 different Sata HDD"S and n...

Re: HDD recommendations

I do have a very thin 500gb HDD at 7200 RPM. It's safe to say it will fit between the disc tray and lid via USB, is anybody using a similar setup? I'd use extra power wires, Haven't decided whether to install on the 20 or 21 pin saturn and I assume that's irrelevant anyway. I'm happy to use the sugg...

Re: News of '' mode'' shipments

I got the notice from DHL earlier in the week, I'm pretty excited to be honest. I am however patient and I'm sure is worth the wait like the SSDS3. I'm in a pal Country and for some reason have both white and gray JP models, also a U.S original model. Sacrificed 3 PAL saturns for the 240v PSU, It's ...

Re: News of '' mode'' shipments

I think I only ordered it less then a month ago, but this gives me time to do my own iso's from my own collection. I'm sure it will be worth the wait. You mean cue - bin it the preferred format also iso are not fully supported at this time unless you add a cue file https://forums.terraonion.com/vie...

Re: Thank you!!!

To be honest, I was so impressed with the SSDS3 that I have now ordered the Mode as well. I already own a rgb modded Turbo Duo-RX which is in mint condition however the SSDS3 wins hand down for convenience and speed, no more cd pauses changing tracks and the SNK games are brilliant without the loadi...

Re: solid white screen

I don't know how helpful this is as I've only had the unit for less then a week, However I had the same problem when I first connected mine up. It' turned out to be the Scart Cable, It just needed to be pushed in a little bit more. So the connection for me was a bit tight and I didn't want to damage...
