Re: Post Your Game Bugs here.

Iirc, in that game, if you have an arcade card, it preloads data there so cutscene loading times are shorter. If there is no acard, it uses part of the adpcm ram as extra storage. If you have a real card, it should disable all emulation and only the cd block will work. I just tested running it with...

Re: Post Your Game Bugs here.

No, not yet. It seems to be caused by some missing feature in the arcade card emulation. Can you try if disabling arcade card fixes it for you? This game is not an arcade card game or arcade card-enhanced so it is weird that an arcade card factor is involved in the bug (edit: actually it is an arca...

Re: Distorted top of image

I'd sooner suspect the monitor itself rather than the cable (though csync is indeed preferable to cvbs sync). Some monitors simply don't like the weird PC Engine signal. Some BVMs for example need to engage "VCR mode" to fix flagging at the top of the picture. An Extron RGB interface that can add se...

Re: CDROM Seek time

F1... I'm surprised that you didn't hear noise. Checked it again and it's really not there. Normal honk sound on splash screen followed by silence until engine sounds. I'm not sure whether the image was altered for SSDS3, or whether SSDS3 altered their BIOS to suit this image, but it is not correct...

Re: CDROM Seek time

I just tested some of those games. Setup: Revision B SSDS3, Supergrafx (set to PC Engine compatibility mode), Sandisk Ultra 128GB, Arcade card enabled, IGR off, some ISOs are Redump, some are Trurip. Brandish (TruRip dump): Yep, the sound sample is messed up toward the end of the intro cutscene when...

Re: CDROM Seek time

Yes the Duo seektimes are the best apparently. I believe that originally the SSDS3 was made to perform like an IFU-30+CDROM2 or "briefcase" console, but it looks like there have been some adjustments in the latest firmware so it's worth updating and re-checking those problematic games/scenes.

Re: CDROM Seek time

@dshadoff I'll try to make some time to check out a few of the games you listed, but the Valis cutscene does no longer have the lip-sync problem on the current firmware that shipped on the revision B SSDS3. It syncs perfectly. De-sync on that scene can happen on consoles too, I saw it on both an I-3...

Re: Supergrafx games not showing up in menu.

It's weird that his pack has those extensions if it's meant for the SSDS3. Anyway, try changing the file extension of the six games to .pce

Re: Super Real Mahjong P V unplayable

It is supposed to only say the command that you selected. So if you fixed it you should only hear a single word/sound after you select an action in the button II menu. For example, if you choose the first action you should hear her say "pon", with the third one, "kan". Right now you'll instead hear ...
