Re: Supergrafx games not showing up in menu.

It's weird that his pack has those extensions if it's meant for the SSDS3. Anyway, try changing the file extension of the six games to .pce

Re: Super Real Mahjong P V unplayable

It is supposed to only say the command that you selected. So if you fixed it you should only hear a single word/sound after you select an action in the button II menu. For example, if you choose the first action you should hear her say "pon", with the third one, "kan". Right now you'll instead hear ...

Re: Super Real Mahjong P V unplayable

Thanks for looking at this so quickly, neodev! Is there a chance a firmware upgrade will fix this? Every finding like this and a fix is really valuable as it may also fix a dozen other untested games that have similar implementation issues.

Have you tried re-installing the firmware? Just in case something went wrong the first time.

Re: New Board Revision with FBX & FU-RGB Fixes?

The audio noise when nothing is playing is normal. Adding to this, during silent moments in games there are two different types of sounds you may hear. One is the baseline hum/pitch that Mobius is talking about. It is normal and present in all console models. There is also buzzing from reading the ...

Re: Super SD System 3 Audio Buzzing

Shielding in cables, and generally noise in the analogue signal, often accounts for audio buzzing during bright/white screens, as it happens during the Konami logo. So that particular instance is probably a separate issue from the buzzing when the CD/image is read.

Re: Super SD System 3 Audio Buzzing

The audio distortion is not an emulation accuracy problem, but it's caused by the CD volume being too loud, that makes the amplifier clip the output, so the way to solve is it reducing the volume. I think 60 or 70 is a value where the cd audio doesn't clip, and the non-CD sound balance is still ok....
