Re: Dancing Pixels in Sega CD games

Makes me glad I sold the Mega SG disaster and went back to my model 1 va3 I mean I updated the firmware and it works flawlessly now. That's fine if you prefer something else but I don't think it's a disaster. It's small form, HDMI output without bulky upscalers, scanline options. I really love it.

Re: Dancing Pixels in Sega CD games

it works perfectly now. The Mega SG update did the trick. Sega CD games are now sharp and clean. Thank you!

BTW it was probably me using a bad or wrong cable on the 8bitdo, probably fried it. Got a new one, works just fine.

I can't wait to get one!

I'm brand new to FPGa. I've just gotten a Super NT and Mega SG. And the Mega SD. Still having some tech issues with the terraonion cart but I'm so into the fpg stuff for older hardware. I have games as old as PS1. But I've always wanted to play those CD-rom RPGs like Dragon Slayer and Cosmic Fantasy...

Re: Dancing Pixels in Sega CD games

Updated firmware. Issue still persists. Got MegaSD_firmware_1.04_R09.zip. And yeah I did format a new card, put that one file in and the update did work.
