Castlevania Bloodlines in-game menu doesn't work properly with Mega Drive + MegaSD+ Retro-Bit 2.4Ghz controller combo

I noticed that when I use my Mega Drive with the Retro-Bit 2.4GHz controllers (both Saturn and Genesis), the confirm button in the MegaSD's in-game menu becomes B and there is no back button. This does not happen on the Mega Sg or with the M30 2.4g or my SJ-6000. Will do some more testing and edit t...

Settings for OSSC + 32X and OSSC + PSP go

Anyone have any advice (or timings) for setting these 2 systems up with the OSSC? JunkerHQ has basically nothing for PSP and absolutely nothing for 32X, and FirebrandX has nothing for either of them, although his Genesis settings kind of work for the Super 32X... but only if I play Mega Drive/Genesi...

Re: Overdrive not working properly on Nomad

Yay, a double post. I disabled the auto region fix and it worked on both my Nomad and my Mega Drive. I don't normally use my Mega Drive because the OSSC is annoying and my monitor takes forever to switch resolutions, but I am glad I tested this. Not because of Overdrive, but because I discovered tha...

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

Tearing is better than lag, I think, so that's an acceptable sacrifice. It looks like the NTSC Mega Drive/Genesis run at 59.92Hz. Not sure why I thought it was 59.54Hz or where I got that number from. Edit: But you know, I had always been wondering about the audio desync thing you mentioned. I guess...

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

Yeah, I think the original refresh rate is 59.54Hz or something like that (probably not 59.54, but I always forget) instead of actual NTSC spec. I don't remember, but it's a slight bit slower than NTSC while the SFC/SNES runs at 60.08Hz, which is easy to remember for some reason. The other one you f...

Re: Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine (sound issues)

Yay, broken stuff thanks to the extra blast processing of zero delay. Does single buffer fix this or stuff in general? I'm not very familiar with exactly how the buffer modes work and I can't test since I'm not home right now.

Re: Would really like to play Shining Force CD, but...

Well, you don't need a save, fortunately, as it crashes almost instantly upon starting a new game.

Edit: Disregard. You're talking about Shining Force CD.

Re: Freeze report on Japanese Mega CD "Shin Megami Tensei"

Great, thanks. Figures that 4.7 is the cause. Hopefully Kevtris fixes all of the broken stuff soon. Might as well try reporting it over on GitHub.

Edit: Reported on GitHub. Hopefully someone can verify it using real hardware for me so it can get fixed.

Re: Overdrive not working properly on Nomad

Okay, thanks. Figured I'd ask to see if anyone else has had problems specifically related to the MegaSD. I'll look into it more when I get home. The Nomad is basically just a Genesis 2 with TMSS and a screen, so testing it with a Mega Drive 2 makes sense. Maybe it will work on my Japanese Mega Drive...
